'Gremlins 3' Pushed to October 2028 as Warner Bros. Drops a Teaser

Gizmo will have to wait a little longer. Warner Bros. has pushed Gremlins 3 from its original November 2027 release date to October 2028, a delay of nearly a year for the long-awaited third installment in the beloved creature-feature franchise.

The studio cushioned the news with a teaser that is short but instantly recognizable to anyone who grew up with the originals: you hear the mogwai before you see him, and when he says the fateful words, you hear them too. The teaser closes with the date 10.6.28 and the tagline Only In Theaters.

The move slots Gremlins 3 into an early-October window where Warner Bros. has previously found success with darker, filmmaker-driven titles, most notably Joker. The date also arrives just ahead of Halloween, a natural fit for a franchise built on mischievous monsters and midnight screenings.
