Where do CineVault's ratings come from?

Movies and TV shows show TMDB user ratings (out of 10), refreshed when our database updates. Anime shows AniList scores (as a percentage). We do not display IMDb ratings because we have no licensed IMDb data feed; each title page links to its IMDb page instead.

Why can't I stream or download anything here?

CineVault is a discovery database, not a streaming service. We never host or link to pirated copies.

How do I save titles to my watchlist?

Tap the + Watchlist button on any movie, show, or anime. Guests get a watchlist stored in their own browser; signing in (once Firebase is configured by the site owner) syncs it across devices.

How often is the data updated?

The database is rebuilt from the TMDB and AniList APIs on a schedule set by the site owner. Upcoming release dates reflect the data at the time of the last build.

Who makes the posters and photos?

Movie and TV posters, backdrops, and actor photos come from TMDB and its contributors; anime artwork comes from AniList — no AI-generated artwork is used on this site.
